Crochet

Ok the main reason That I have set up this blog is for my crochet obsession.
I learned crochet around the age of 8. At that time things like crochet and knitting were taught at school.
My mum showed me how to crochet and knit at home. I can remember sitting on her lap as she taught me. She's left handed and she taught us (myself and my sister) how to crochet and knit right handed, which I think is amazing! She's great like that.
AT the time I crocheted doilies and filet crochet and still have a thing for doilies (just check out my ravelry account)
Once I left secondary school, I put down my hooks and picked them up again last year. I crocheted my cousin a christening blanket for her son. I loved it..and ever since I haven't put my hooks down.

Slightly obsessed would be an understatement.
